Leather cassette card holder pattern.
If you or your friend have access to a laser cutter engraver This instant digital download is a great card wallet to make. It is a Retro cassette card holder wallet. You will receive a .zip file that contains 6 different file types (.ai, .pdf, .svg, .eps, .gcode, .lbm2)
If you use a laser all the stitching holes will be cut by the laser!
The .lbm2 file is created for Lightburn™ Software so if you are running Lightburn™ you can open it up and set up your power and speed settings or just use the ones that the files are already set to. (settings are set up for a 10 watt laser but you can change them to any laser you have.)
If you want you can print out the .pdf file and bypass the laser and make it by hand. You would just have to substitute the art work designs for your own creative idea or tool them out by hand. The stitching holes will match a 4mm spaced chisel or you can use a 1mm round punch and punch the holes individually.
Always refer to the documentation of your laser cutting software as to which file types it supports as well as importing at 100% scale. I tried to supply you with as many file types as possible to increase the compatibility with the software you use but issues are always possible.
This card wallet has 2 pockets that can fit multiple cards. One pocket in the middle and one pocket on the back.
One of the greatest aspects of using a patterns is it creates consistency in you craft creation and if you are using a laser the cuts and stitching holes align and come out perfect every time!
